Hummer can be a viable brand (as if that waste of metal even deserves to be one, but that is another topic...) if someone buys it...OK? If someone does not buy the brand, then it ceases to be.

Yes, he is. No way around that. No "semantics" and twisting of the words to find different "context" changes that fact.
I'd be willing to bet that the Chinese will run Hummer far better than GM did.



It will also open the door for Chinese cars to be imported into the US, which will create an opportunity for all those dealers who lost their GM franchises to re-open under the branded flag of a Chinese company, and thumb their noses @ GM while selling a better quality product for less money, that will probably still be built in the US, as fuel prices are now making the cost of shipping vehicles greater than the difference in labor costs.



Car dealers need to seize this opportunity to BURY GM, and they have the power to do so.



This should have happened a year ago, let GM go down the tubes without $50B of our taxes.. rather than after it.

Yes he is. And even IF what some people claim is true and it was GM itself that made the "decision"; Obama can still override it as he has made and dictated so many other things concerning General Motors; such as what kind of car they make and who their executives are. Obama can easily step in and stop this but he is choosing not to. Yet he sticks his hand in everything else GM does. I do not favor the government running a business; but it is obvious to anyone with a brain that Obama (and a former campaign worker of his) IS running the show at GM. So therefore they arr to blame.
