Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?

We all contribute to global warming in different ways. Why do you want a Hummer? If you're just trying to buy something you can get off the pavement in you're probably not just generating a lot of CO2 but also spending a lot money unnecessarily. Where I live there are lots of places out in the desert where a Hummer would just be too big to fit. I think Hummers are kind of ridiculous on the pavement, and poser cars in the dirt.Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?Ignoring GW why would anyone by a hummer H2 it has quite poor build quality is lousy to drive of road as it is not related to the real Hummer in any way but body styling it has quite poor interior space and the primary effect of it's poor fuel economy will be on your wallet not the environment. Far more capable 4x4s are the Landcrusier Prado and the Landrover Discovery and either are far better in fuel economy, and off road and on road driving. The Land rover in diesel form is more fuel efficient than many of the larger four cylinder petrol cars.

I quite like the Toyota FJ cruiser which is a reasonable priced real offroader http://www.toyota.com/fjcruiser/ which goes back to the original concept of the Landcruiser in the 70s, unfortunately Toyota are not planning to bring it to Australia.

It also comes in yellow.Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?
Yellow cars are the only ones that do not contribute top global warming. You can buy it without feeling guilty. Blue cars are the worst and black ones aren't far behind.

If a Hummer is what you want to drive, buy a Hummer. They are as well made as any other GM truck and parts will be available. The H2 is a Chevy Blazer/GMC Yukon chassis with different sheet metal. Dana will tell any lie he can to convince you to buy some little hybrid piece of crap so he can feel like he is saving the world.Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer? You'll contribute to global warming no matter what car you drive. But the more gas you burn, the more you're contributing, and the H2 Hummer burns a lot of gas.

It would be extra dumb to buy a Hummer right now because GM is trying to sell the brand to a Chinese company. When the Hummer breaks down - which it will, because Hummers are poorly made - you may have a hard time finding replacement parts.
probably not that much but it will certainly empty your pockets at the pump when peak oil causes gas prices to jolt up.

come on people lets be responsible consumers just because someone wants to sell you something doesnt make it a smart idea to buy it. unless you are a drug/gun smuggler i see no reason why you need a hummer.

trust me on this one gas prices will sky rocket in the next few years whether there is a carbon tax or not or even if we drill for heavy oil here in america; light sweet crude oil that is easily made into gasoline is becoming ever more scarce and more expensive to extract

trust me fking trust meuDo you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?Speaking of H2 Hummers....

Last year, I saw a Hummer parked diagonally (and illegally) across two parking-spaces -- two *handicapped* parking spaces.

Also, this study should shed some light on Hummer drivers: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/20/do-hu?/a>

Instead spending your money on a new Hummer, perhaps you should look into this instead: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penis_enlar?/a>Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?
One would not, but think what would happen if others followed suit on their desires to buy a Hummer. You are better than them. Don't buy a hummer, because it's good for you and good for your poor, polluted country.
Not only would you not cause global warming, neither would you be contributing to it. Personally I like the full size one. Just an amazing vehicle.Do you think that it would really cause global warming if I bought a yellow H2 Hummer?
One person alone can't cause global warming-but I personally would buy a hybrid car...they are so much better for earth and you won't feel guilty like you would if you had a gas-guzzling Hummer.
No, buy it global warming is a sham. Al Gore got a bunch of egg heads on board his global warming train, but honestly your gonna see global cooling the next 10yrs it's a cycle
Nope one more hummer won't make any difference. If you don't buy it someone else will. I wouldn't buy one cause I can't afford the gas.
Looks like typical american. Intelligence and the americans is not possible to unify with sense.
buy a freaking hummer to piss off the liberals the earth will be the same global warming is fake
Only %2 of the CO2 being released in the atmosphere is from humans and anything man mande.. Bet you didn't know that.
no,it would just cause you to be a total douche
not as much as if you bought a prius
DUH
These Hippies beleave that if we Allll Stop using High petrol using cars we can save the world, but this is on a scale of 10,000,000 people all using hybrid cars, One more person wont make a diffrence.

Modern cars can now be convertedinto semi-hybrids so they dont use as much petrol as they would do, this can be costly but it would pay for its self in a few years

Splash out and have those Rims-A-Spinnin'
