Since Hummer went out business, how will it effect the price?

Will prices go up since they wont make them anymore?Since Hummer went out business, how will it effect the price? There will be die-hard collectors and devout fans of the Hummer for years to come because it is such a unique and distinctive niche vehicle. In the short term, prices will probably fall somewhat due to energy prices, the economy, and plenty of other SUV competition.

However, down the line, and especially ten years or more from now, a Hummer will likely be a very head-turning sight at a truck or car show... Some vehicles that were expensive when new tend to be worth more as collectibles...but not always. Also, a Hummer is not as easy to store, as...say, a Mustang.

If only we could predict the future!Since Hummer went out business, how will it effect the price? The popularity of these has historically been inversely tied to the price of gas and in direct correlation to the strength of the economy on the whole. There will be a cult following (as there always has been), but there will have to be an awful lot of Hummers meeting the crusher before there will be sufficient scarcity to drive prices up. My guess is that in 15 to 20 years, a real cherry specimen will get a good price. In the short run however, things look pretty bleak. Most of the kind of guys that like that kind of car, are the same undereducated, low skill folks, that find themselves laid off in this economy. (which looks like it is going to remain in the tank for another couple years.)Since Hummer went out business, how will it effect the price?it all depends , it depends on the gas price or the economy , lets see it this way , remember when they stop making the classic model for the vw beattle ?

the beattles classic models were really good vehicles very low maintenance

low gas consumtion

no water needed to cool engine

very dependeble

but unfortunaley they were not safe , speacially in the freeway driving at 60 or 70

they are not confortable to drive or ride in them

they are not aerodynamic they don't offer a smooth ride

in other words , they were really really good cars but peple right now want luxury they want style safety comes first

same thing with hummer people now days want better gas milage , they want cheaper vehicles , and they ahave finally realised that hummers are usless they are only good to impress and show off but they don't do good on freeway or offroad and only rich colectors will wan to buy them but regular peo;e i don't think so , parts maintence , and all that won't exist anymore and will be limited and very expensive

If this answer was helpful don't forget to rate thanks have a great day ;)Since Hummer went out business, how will it effect the price?
You may want to ask owners of Studebakers, Hudsons, and Oldsmobiles.
