Should i get the Volvo XC90 or the Hummer H3?

I went car shopping with my parents and i like the Volvo xc90 and the hummer h3. both which are two completely different styles. this will be my first car. which one should i get?Should i get the Volvo XC90 or the Hummer H3?Two terrible first cars for a new driver.

If you are a new driver I recommend a used car like my 92 ford explorer if I get into a minor accident no big deal and its cheap to insure. so what im saying is buy cheap used its a first car think of it as a throw away then buy your own with your money it will make you feel more accomplished in life. Im 17 my goal is a new challenger or camaro they are both great cars but not for a first car if you rub up against a parking pole or shopping cart you'll freak out cause its a new car.



but if you are set on one of these if you ever go off road get the hummer if not get the volvo they are good safe road cars and designed for street use it'll be easier to driveShould i get the Volvo XC90 or the Hummer H3?i would prefer you getting the xc 90 because that the car has a 6 year, 100k mile warranty. the car is much more sexy looking too. hummer's sales went down 70%, so you can imagine if anything goes wrong your in hot water. not only that, japan is thinking of buying the company, so you'd be stuck with a crap version with sucky mileage. plus i can imagine the gas being better on the xc90. the only thing i would have to say is that if something does break and you dont get it covered, its a steep fine.
Considering it's your first car I would go something smaller and definately better on gas. Even if your parents are buying it still remember that you'll have to put gas in it. If I had to choose between the two though I'd say the Volvo. Should i get the Volvo XC90 or the Hummer H3?Definitely a XC90. It has an Euro NCAP 5 star rating. Really comfortable. Looks really good. Really safe. Huge cabin space.
