If you drive 1000 miles should you choose the hummer or the accord?

Suppose you buy gasoline at eh price of $2.50 per gallon and you are considering whether to buy a 10 year old hummer ($800/yr, 10mpg) or a 10 year old Honda Accord ($400/yr, 50 mpg).If you drive 1000 miles should you choose the hummer or the accord?Depends on whether you are driving off-road or on pavement. If you are carving your own road through the woods or traversing expanses of high desert then a Hummer could be tons of fun.

If you are driving on pavement, I'd go with the Accord. If you drive 1000 miles should you choose the hummer or the accord?Hummers are by far one of the worst cars you can buy. Not only do they have terrible gas mileage, but they really aren't the best cars for off-road terrain either.

Basically, a Hummer is a military Humvee with it's balls ripped off

Hummer is definitively one of the worst rated cars.

And interestingly enough - honda accord I believe has their top rating.

Had a neighbor just sell his - his words were "freedom".

He was always at the shop spending money on fixing it.

You wan't something you can rely on - don't you?
