My Marine car dealer friend (okay, he left the service after Desert Storm, but you're never an ex Marine, so bear with me...) buys these bad boys and 2.5-ton trucks quite often.
About the only way to get one now is by leaving with it cut into a bajillion pieces BEFORE you leave base under the watchful eye of a Dept of Defense type.
Still interested?
Probably not, huh?
Yeah, you can blame Obammy and his bunch for being antsy of the citizenry getting ahold of enough of these...dreams dashed.I want to buy a hummer H1 it is a 1997 model, is the car of my dreams Should I pay 450000 for it?
You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.netI want to buy a hummer H1 it is a 1997 model, is the car of my dreams Should I pay 450000 for it?Do you mean $45,000 or $4,500I want to buy a hummer H1 it is a 1997 model, is the car of my dreams Should I pay 450000 for it?
Excuse me? you want to pay four hundred and fifty thousand dollars for a hummer? step into my office let me see what I can find. all kidding aside, a hummer is a gas sucking pig, if you are going to buy one, find a diesel that will go hundreds of thousands of miles. A hummer, is not a good daily driver because old ones especially are not very dependable, and besides the veritable fortune you will pay at 8 miles to the gallon, ( four bucks a gallon right now 40 gallons of gas is 160 bucks and its 300 miles on 40 gallons
here is a web site that has lots of information on how to go look at used cars, what to look for and what to look out for. www.samarins.com has a lot of free information abot cars. Another good place for pricing cars or hummers would be www.nada.com this has a free consumer section that you can check prices on new, or old, or classic cars. Motor Homes , Motorcycles, just to name a few.
