What is it about seeing someone driving a Hummer that makes you think, "a*****e"?

Possible answers: people who buy them are impotent and try to compensate with what they perceive to be a bad-*** vehicle; they are owned mostly by Republican/TypeA types with superiority complexes; owners are basically saying "not only do I not care about the environment or conservation, I am going to *speed up* climate change and the exhaustion of oil. Others?What is it about seeing someone driving a Hummer that makes you think, "a*****e"?I get the same feeling whenever I see one pass down the streets. These people are just very inconsiderate and very ignorant about how with their gigantic gas chuggling car is helping destroy the environment.
