that's a funny thought. I would not think about hitchhiking in this day and age. There are too many violent people around now a days. But i would suggest that if you need the money, sell your hummer and get something more affordable.

why the heck would you need a hummer in the first place?
I think you got the Hummer because it is fun or fancy looking. There isn't much status in it if you can't afford the gas. It sounds like you need to make some decisions and take some action.

I do not recommend attempting to hitch-hike. In most places it is unlawful, and it is mostly dangerous.
