Are there any hummer dealers in Toronto and if there are were are they and do they cell slant back hummers?
if your going to get a H2 or H3 then it must mean you want to waste money, an H2 is just a hummer body on top of a 3/4 ton truck frame, everything from the frame down is the same, drivetrain, suspension, brakes all that is the same as on a 3/4 ton chevy/gmc truck, so your paying an extra $20,000 or more for them to put a hummer body on instead of a truck cab and bed, in other words it would be like buying a 2500HD, taking off the cab and bed, buying a hummer body for $20,000 and not selling the cab or bed so you get no money back, make any sense? no it don't, also the H3 is that same as i described except on a 1/2 ton truck frame and all, honestly save the money and get either a full size chevy/gmc truck or SUV because it would be the same thing, the only real true hummer is an H1 which is the military style hummer and i don't think they even manufacture H1s anymore for "civilian" use, only for military now

I understand it is primarily a novelty car that guzzles gas but are there any other thoughts around it. I know they stopped making the Hummer brand but I sure would like to test drive one.What are your thoughts about the Hummer 2 (H2)?H2 is a tahoe underneath. H3 is a trailblazer. The only thing even remotely capable offroad was the original H1, because it was based on the Military HMMWV. And even those, around here, are awful. Too long and way too wide. Yes, they are fairly competent, but they're far too large to get into the areas, say, a jeep can. Not that that's a real issue, as maybe 2% of Hummers sold will ever venture of the pavement. It's a Tahoe, where everything is uglier and heavier. The gas mileage is horrendous, if you live in a suburb you don't need a big high-riding 4x4. I'd save my money and go for something else. I can't change your opinion, and I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but an H2 is a poor choice for everyday use.What are your thoughts about the Hummer 2 (H2)?
Its basically a Chevy Tahoe with a different body, less interior space, and lower gas mileage (because its less aerodynamic).

No. Not in all cases, well at least not in most of my experiences. Depends on what kind of engine you are using and how that engine is aspirated. My friend has a Honda CRX, which he hooked up beyond belief and he is now pushing between 400-500 horsepower. His car is a 4 cylinder with a huge turbo attached. He only seems to use a lot of gas if he gets on the throttle hard constantly. If he is out on the street, he gets decent gas mileage- but only if he keeps the speed limit and doesn't speed up every chance he gets between stops.
Think about it this way too, I have a 2006 VW GTi fsi turbo and it pushes around 200 horsepower, I get great gas mileage and great pickup...but if you compare that to some of the 8 cylinders from back in the day- which guzzled gas and only produced around 200HP, I think you would disagree that the horsepower will equal gas consumption.
